Ingredients for Gajar Halwa Recipe

# Ingredients
1. 10 medium carrots
2. 3 tbsp ghee
3. 2 cup milk
4. 1/2 cup mawa (Khoya)
5. 6 tbsp Sugar or as per taste
6. 1/4 tbsp green cardamom powder
7. 1 tbsp Almond, chopped
8. 1 tbsp cashew nuts, chopped
9. 1 tbsp pistachios, chopped
10. 1 tbsp raisins

Steps of Gajar Halwa Recipe

# Steps
1. Wash the carrots, Peel the skin and grate them.
2. In a non stick pan heat the ghee and add carrot and sauté for 5 minutes.
3. Add milk and mix well. Cook till milk evaporates completely while stirring continuously.
4. Add mawa (Khoya) and sugar and cook for 5 minute or till sugar is completely dissolved.
5. Add cardamom powder, almonds, cashew nuts, raisins, pistachio and mix well. Switch off the flame.
6. Transfer in to serving bowl. Serve hot or cold.
